That was a picture that leaked out prior to the actual release from Tudor. Strange C24 would use that as that was obviously never made that way.

I think that the BBN will tank the value on the new one since who would want an inferior movement. The new movement has almost twice the power reserve time. However, I believe in 10-15 years the ETA version will appreciate in value due to scarcity. Regardless, I love the look of the ETA BBN. We'll see what the future holds.

I wonder if that bracket would fit on the eta version. Great looking watch!

Sure it will.
I believe the only change to the case is the slightly thicker caseback to accommodate the movement.

You'll also notice that the center link is not as wide as on the original bracelet which is balanced better IMO regardless of how polarizing the rivets are.

I love how much controversy/angst this watch has been stirring up. It costs as much as 4 links for a PM watch yet people are completely captured in a pretty silly debate. Its a cool watch, I love the rose, I don't even REMOTELY care about a power reserve on a time only watch thats 1 of 10 different pieces I have...and it could be worth 3 dollars tomorrow and I'd still be happy I bought it...

...ok maybe 1000 bucks but hey, works all the same.

On the contrary, the rose logo is not important to me.....

If I buy BB, I don't buy it for collection. I buy it and use it and I think 70 hour power reserve is more practically from a usage point of view.

I managed to get hold of the new one this weekend and couldn't be happier. It was the 70 hour reserve which swung the choice for me as I tend to rotate between watches, so it reduces the likelihood of me having to adjust it. Ironically, it turns out i think I'll be wearing it daily for the foreseeable as its a beaut.

Dial layout and movement of the new one are very nice, the riveted bracelet is not for me, though.

I prefer the older model too. Hopefully I can find one when I'm ready to buy later this year.

I like the smaller center links on the newer bracelet minus the riveted look. If the newer bracelet fits the old ETA one then I might have to source one.

I like the new bracelet and proportions of it, I don't care for the dial as much as the rose for the BBN...but I do love the "new" dial on the Dark...no idea why it's that way

As far as I can tell, yes it should be compatible as the case has not been changed nor have the lugs. The only change in proportions is the depth as the caseback has been deepened slightly to accommodate the MT5602 movement

I agree with you 100%. I think the straight text and shield look more modern,
and therefore match the Dark better, whereas the BBN had a great vintage vibe going.

I do like the promotions of the center links on the new bracelets though.

Just bought a BBN with in house. Had a BBB with the rose...

Love the new Watch so much better. Prefer the dial and the bracelets more comfortable.

Any where that I can find a brand new BBN with rose logo? Old dial of 79220N has a more vintage feel and look cleaner than the new dial. I prefer the old one more. 79230N is just a Rolex Sub wannabe IMO with no identity.
