Pist Off at the moment with.....
DSSD posts...I couldn't give a rats. They aren't rare or limited...they are everywhere. If you like them due to the looks then I'm happy for you. I you like them because you think they will be the next Newman Daytona...you're an idiot! Sheep Jokes...please, these are wearing so thin even the oldtimers and mods just ignore em. Can we find something else to laugh about? The sheep stuff makes reading threads hardwork! Porsche threads....two words....car forum London GTG threads...the idea was set for Dan to meet a few members whilst he was in London...now some selfish Brit members are changing dates to accomodate themselves. WE LIVE HERE!!!!! We can have a GTG whenever! Dan is coming all the way from Kentucky!!!!! WTF????!!!??? When you read Kentucky do you think he lives in a KFC on an industrial estate in Slough!?! Screw the GTG! I'm staying under my bridge...Dan knows how I feel about it! Bitsy has spoken...flame away...I just don't care anymore! J |

Harvey, if you look back through the history, I'm pretty sure it was Dan who posted first about coming to London and that got the ball rolling...I remember Bo was gonna take time off work to be there as well as the UK members. It's all well and good that UK members can meet up but we could do that in October/November/December whenever. A quick train or car journey aint gonna kill anyone and if they miss one through personal circumstances then they could always be present at the next. Members from overseas can't really do that. I know we are on an overpriced luxury watch forum but it's a bit presumptious to think that a member can just hop across the Atlantic to suit a a few members just down the road! I guess I'm looking into it a little too much but you have to admit, it hardly bathes any of us English members in golden light does it?????? J |

Where to begin.....
-Which one should I buy the A or the B? -Should I buy/sell/trade my Rolex? -What will you wear today/this weekend? -Which Rolex is the best investment? -Follow up: Daytona value forecasts, if I sell later blabla -What car do you drive? Not really repetitive (or in a way it is) new members who use the open discussion section for their introduction.. what's up with that?? Isn't that what the new members section is for? @Quicksilver: that's not very nice to specifically link the thread in question, may have given the topic starter quite an awkward feeling now if he would read this. Better just refer to a certain subject in general, I'd say.

The good news for new people is that this forum is civil. I am part of other forums including motorcycles and cars and newbies get blasted for repeat questions. |

I've seen more threads making fun of such threads than I have seen such threads!

For me, I only check the thread title that I put interest on. So, I never yawn. If you are boring with 'Show what you wear' thread, just skip that thread and you will not yawn. A lot of other members are interested with that thread. And this thread may stop some of them to post those kind of threads and we may loose the fun in the future. |

If I wear my Rolex in public, will people who can't afford one think I am a snob?

I too have wondered why my watch stops after a couple days of disuse. I figured my battery would last longer than that.
