I guess I don't really think much about what I'm wearing when I pick my watch. I just put on whatever strikes my fancy. I like subs with dress clothes personally so I'm good with it.

Freedom of expression, I suppose. I also choose to use punctuation when I write, but I respect your freedom of expression while you choose to write like a five year old.

The LNc sub can definitely go a bit formal with today's fashion. We're in a time when one makes their own fashion rules. Go for it!

Last formal occasion I was at many were wearing smartwatches ..as well as bulky sports watches. Openly once they'd had a few to drink and threw the jackets off. It was disgraceful! So wear whatever you want I don't care anymore!

It is a perfect choice for dressy look, black or green, depends though on color matching with blazer, tie, square, tie clip ..etc. SD and DeepSea maybe too sporty for formal dress.

Do you wear SUBs, as a dress watch?

I suppose I am not allowed to have a view on this issue according to you then. I'm pretty sure dive watches are in the sport category. I may be wrong though. I used some rudimentary punctuation just for you, ok? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Is it breaking a rule? sure.
Although, I’d assume that most of us who know of said rule, also knows about James bonds influences on the subject at hand. I personally think a sub looks great peaking out of a formal cuff. Summary... 1. Breaking rules 2. Good enough for bond 3. Looks good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Wearing suits to work everyday, if I didn't wear my subs with them, I'd only enjoy those watches during the weekend, which is a no go for me.
I don't wear subs with a tux however. That's the Daytona's job. |

To which I suggested that one could wear one in formal situations as an exercise of their freedom of expression. I also specifically stated that I respect your freedom of expression. How you interpreted that as my suggesting that you're "not allowed to have a view on this issue" is beyond me.

Right, your initial comment towards me was cordial and gentlemanly. I wasn't even responding to your picture / post. I was giving my opinion to the OP. Look, more grammar. And yes actually, bourbon. It was Friday night. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Yes, I understand that you were replying to the initial post. This is a forum, though and we're all free to comment on, or respond to the replies of the other members. In this case, seeing that your reply was in the form of a question (albeit without a question mark) I chose to reply by quoting you and then replying with an answer to that question.

Yeah whats with the dress code anyway? I was at the mall yesterday in Frisco, Texas and I was dressed comfortably wearing my rolex, and even though I only own one watch, I am still an enthusiast, and just enjoy wrist gazing. Most people today like the smart watches better. Does it make them smart? I THINK NOT!!! I absolutely love my SubC, and wouldn't trade it or sell it for the world. Thanks for reading....hahaha

I am a new 114060 owner and would wear this watch anyplace! Casual, Business casual and business dress. Saying that, I am sure this summer when i need to attend a wedding I will reach for the datejust 1601. just a personal preference. I also have a speedy pro on a leather strap that I would only wear casual and business casual.

I threw it on with a suit last time and didn’t look good on me. Threw on the DJ and it was a match made in heaven.
