At your age, people who wouldn't think twice about ripping a ROLEX off the arm of an adult would consider you an easy mark. Considering your location (PR) and I've been there (beautiful place by the way), I think you'd have to seriously consider the locations you frequent when wearing any type of ROLEX. In the criminal world, ROLEX means easy money, even the name ROLEX sends shivers up the legs of bad guys/girls.

Think about it this way, when someone sees someone wearing a ROLEX, they think that guy/girl has money....even if that ISN'T the case. Not only is your watch valuable, so are you....if a young person is wearing one, then his parents are valuable.

But, I'm cynical...can't do this job for a long time and not be. If your father does gift you one, just use your common sense. I know you'll want people to know you have one, every one who has a ROLEX is proud of them but its doubly typical for someone so young to be, whats the word...flashy. It's normal.

Good luck and congrats should this happen...just be careful.

Thanks Cuda! I know what u mean! If I get it, which some people are making me not wanting to get it, It'll be for special occasions! Weddings, Grads, Family parties, Funerals etc. But I think I might not get it. :/
