Wow I like this a lot better on a standard strap without the end links. Looks beautiful

Correct afaik. Straps are not interchangeable which is kind of annoying because the WG looks amazing on rubber. The SS textured dial is a really nice touch so I went with that version and am hoping they release a rubber straps for it...

+1 on the Rubber. The leather is still a huge improvement over the steel, but it doesn't look nearly as good as the rubber. That dial is so much better as well.

I have the WG (I'm wearing it now actually!).

It came on leather and the rubber is coming as well.

They ARE interchangeable...so I'm going to wear leather in the cold and rubber in the warm...it's a terrific piece and I couldn't be more happy with it

I think I’m done

Have shifted my collection strongly to AL&S. I like their aesthetic, the relatively under-the-radar nature of the brand, the spectacular movements, and the size of many of their models, which work for my big wrist. I think this caps it off for me.

I can't say enough positive about the WG odysseus...it's so incredibly comfortable on the wrist, it's EASY to read the time (I'm one of those guys who likes to read the time on his watch).

The leather strap is the most comfortable strap I own. They just absolutely nailed it.

I like it so much better than the SS version personally.

I’ve decided this will be my next major purchase. A little while away in terms of goals to achieve between now and then but it’s what I’m aiming for!

Amazing pairing! Makes the watch look so sporty and for lack of a better word 'fun'!

Are you using the standard Lange WG deployant?

Question fellow owners, does your rotor make a zipper noise as it comes to a stop? Mine spins smooth as can be and then zips to a stop as the little wheel beside the rotor bearing moves into position.

Hi everyone, I’m currently considering my first Lange 1 and came across two that I like.
Which would you suggest is more sought after, and a better value if at the same price? 101.031 (PG/Black Dial) or 101.027 (WG/Blue Dial)??

The blue one was an one-year edition (2017 or 2018), and I am not sure if it still is available as new from AD. A great timepiece though.

The blue-dial 101.027 is not from 2017 or 2018 but much older... Around 2000 I would assume and certainly pretty rare.
