This will look very cool. I came across Ralph Lauren watches recently that I love with this sort of hand tooled art. I don’t own it, but it’s kept my attention.

It's basically three discs (one sized to the I.D. of the insert sandwiched between the remaining two sized to to O.D. of the insert. The 6-32 machine screw fit the chuck of the Dremel perfectly.

Expanding mandrel used on lathe with carbide tooling should make quick work of this project.

Thanks, Francisco. I've stopped posting about the aftermarket ceramic bezel modification after a PM from one of the moderators that the posts violate TRF rule 5.

I guess I misinterpreted the rule. The watch is an authentic Rolex recently serviced by the Long Island City RSC; it's not a fake. My bad.

Many local jewelry stores have a laser engraver.

The clasp will have complete coverage that is a continuation of the bracelet, except for the center insignias.

The engraver told me it was a two part jewelers epoxy, that adheres extremely well and sets very hard.

Thanks for the info. I always wondered if it was some kind of enamel or lacquer, but epoxy makes perfect sense. Again, nice job.

All finished and on wrist !

I do not have the photographic equipment nor skill to capture it, but it’s quite captivating in person.

Special thanks to David Wade Harris Jr. for spending many hours over a six week span creating this with small hammers and chisels !
