Thanks, yes, I remember you saying that before too. They are early f-first MKIV dials, so very close to the m-first, which typically go 'trop' so maybe they are on the turn as well. I'm not bothered, nor do I particularly hanker after a brown dial, but I just noticed a couple of times in the last year or so that in very strong sunlight it looks a little on the chocco side.

Yes it definitely seems possible that they could have a hint of chocolate since they are so close to the MFs. Maybe the paint formulas for the dials were similar. I really like the chocolate dials. Only thing is brown dial reds always seem to have stark white plots while I prefer creamy patina.

Looks good, but I agree, they're not the best-made ones available. The colour is the best, though, of the grey ones, IMHO.
