I've been...

...admiring yours too ken, thank you! How are you liking the 5990/1A so far?? I got to see one "in the flesh" and if it weren't for my 5164A, it would be a must have for me!

Well on my signature it's akways been 3-4 watches, now on the Taptalk little heading that always shows up when I reply from there was 3 watch philosophy. It was kind of confusing, so now everything matches, no confusion. I really think it's possible to do it with 3 but 4 is the max in my book. Results vary

Ken, could you compare the weight of the 5990 and 5980 for us because when I tried the 5990, I reminded me a lighter watch than the 5980, but I must be wrong

It is a bit lighter as it is .7 mm slimmer even with more complicated movement. The bracelet is identical and it feels quite similar sized also at 40.5mm. Overall very comfortable and cool looking wrist presence. Really love this one already and I was not sure when it first was released at Basel. One look in person and spend a bit of time playing with complications and I was 100% on board!
