My F-reg 116520 time for service ?

My F-reg ( slim-hands-can-not-tell-the-time-after-dark ) 116520 must be ready for a service . I have never taken any Rolex in for service before , let alone a Daytona . I bought it new from an AD in june 2004 and it has seen 100% wrist time till the arrival of my SDDS early this year .
What kind of service am I looking at ? Will they polish it , as I do believe it would not do it harm ( see some pictures ) it has many scratches on the bezel and triangular shaped " flat dull spot " around the "300" mark , some nasty ones on the side of the case and of course the bracelet and the clasp , but relatively little compared to the watch itself ( I wonder why ) Or will they only do that when I specifically ask for it ? Is it a "standard rate " to start with or will they give me an estimate .
What would be an average price for such a service be ? the watch works perfectly ( a little slow , but well within COSC ) .
Does anybody know what the profit margin is for an AD on this ?
The thing is , after my visit on saturday to see a DJII ( some my remember my thread about it being dangerous ) I completely fell in love with a 116710LN there ( see my WTB post for one ) I now consider some options : A profit from the weak dollar to euro and buy in US , or squeeze my AD to the last drop and maybe have him "throw in " the service of my 116520

My service on a modern Daytona is 500.00 plus parts. Includes complete teardown service of movement and case all new gaskets and wt. I can get 99% of all scratches but actual dents where metal has been pushed in I'll do what I can to minimize them. Let me know Rikki

Thank you for your offer , this seems very reasonable to me . However as I reside in Spain , we would have to add approx. 200 for shipping forth and back .
