Need some help on what to do with a small dent on the middle case of a SDDS , please !

Learn to live with it as you will get plenty more as time go by.

Enjoy it and don't worry so much about a little dent as when you service it in the future they will make it look new again.

Idk about that jj, I think if somebody really had the tools and knew what they were doing (like some at a ad) could fix it. :)

Give it five years, get it serviced by Rolex, and it'll come back to you looking like new. Don't worry about it your bound to pick up a load more dings and scratches, just think of it as character building!

It the AD has a qualified watchmaker it can be repaired..

However, the repair is to shave off metal on the side and top to return it to the original contour... This means that you are losing metal that you cannot get back..

If it bothers you, it may be minimized, but I would not get carried away with removing every scratch and dent because you will eventually grind off too much of the metal and the case will have to be replaced...

This is very similar to getting the first door ding in your brand new car... dreaded.. then it happens and it bugs you until you get your next one... then it's not so bad.

Here's a joke I made up just for you:

If you use "Bondo" to fix a dent in your Rolex, you might be a Redneck.

I'll get it to the AD to get an opinion , I kepp asking my wife and son and they both say its unoticeable , you have to look very , very close to see it , I actually have to wear my prescription glasses to notice it , so it might bother less and less as days go by .
Anyway it was a sad day yesterday until I received as a gift from an brother-in-law his old (1978) GMT Ref. 1675/3 tt niple dial , that I'll get restored starting next week , attached its picture and another from my smal collection ,

Today I took my SDDS to the local AD and they proffesionally managed to erase the tiny dent , now I can't even tell where exactly it was , in 1 1/2 hours they called me to pick it up at no charge , excelent service !!!, and thanks TRF !!!

Good work on the repair. Can't believe some of the miracles that be performed these days. Your DSSD (dent or not) looks awesome!!!

BTW: Get you new (old) 1675 away from your Blackberry holster! That thing has magnets in it!!

That's a BB 9700 sleeve , I don't usually use the one that came with the phone wich has the magnets , anyway thanks for your advice !

I think the sleeve has magnets as well, to induce the auto-off / when in holster feature. They are located usually located around the trackball/trackpad area. No big deal, just an FYI.
