Icon7 new submariner date ceramic

I got a chance to go to rolex factory through my friend who works there and saw a dummy ceramic sub with brushed links and also an LV with ceramic bezal and brushed links.
so we might see the new sub with brused links.

I seriously doubt Rolex would allow visitors in their factory ....and on top of that, display for them what's upcoming for Basel 2010 .... I bet very few Rolex employees are privy to this info ....

Thanks for the in sight, I am pretty sure the new sub will be just like the WG and TT ceramic models, but I believe it will not have PCL

You went to visit the Rolex factory in their future designs department ? Where is it located ? Which building and what floor ? You even had the cheek to ask to take a picture ? Are you trying to say that you as visitor actually took a camera or even a mobile phone equipped with one passed security ? Any one just trying to take a picture of their main entrance gets frogmarched off by the "swiss" guards . Allow me to doubt all of this ...

For the un-initiated, can someone explain to me what the heck "PCL" means? And yes, what is being described here is damn near impossible.

Thanks... I should have put that one together!

I love the PCL on the last two GMTs that have come through my inventory (a bi-metal and a stainless), but would prefer the Sub retain the satin finish myself... at least in the Stainless variant.

Funny as that might sound, I think it should now become a rule of thumb on this forum!!

That is the complete opposite of everything that is Rolex to me. They will destroy the sub if they put PCL's on it and make it a dress watch.

I understand what you are saying but why would someone come here and start a thread making this whole thing up? is it totally impossible or could there be a slight chance to access the Rolex Building. I hope he replies because I sure would hate it if this is just a lie... Thou Shall Not Lie !

Well, you'd be surprised at how many guys come in here bragging about this and that without any evidence whatsoever.

I think it's only fair that when someone comes in tossing a lot of hot air, he should substantiate it with pictures......or it didn't happen!! Simple rule of thumb!!
