New Strap
The postman brought a final delivery of 2009 today and with it my new strap. Particularly exciting as this is my first 3rd party strap for my 312. A couple of quick photos squeezed in before the festivities though.
Happy New Year to you all!

It's the Vulcan (Dark Brown with beige hand stitching with Submarine buckle). At first I thought the buckle was rather "oversized" at ~4mm thick, however, having worn it for a couple of days it's pretty comfortable and works quite well overall.

I was really impressed with the whole package from responsive and personable communications through to the product and packaging. Every time I put my arm down on a table I get a reasuring creak from the leather as it flexes!

Carlo, it was just over the hundred dollars including the buckle. It's on their website under Vulcan 24x24.

That's a great looking strap. The black edges work really well with the oiled nature of the leather and the way it subtly changes colour when flexed works well. I have a crazy horse on my list for the future but have yet to decide on which make. Enjoy the combo.
