What if Rolex made a white faced Sub like the explorer II?
Would that not be one of the sickest watches ever? Like all stainless silver with a white face. Just like the explorer II but in a sub!!!
The reason I was thinking about this is b/c there really isnt a classic or plain white faced dive watch made by Rolex... Too bad :( |

For those that actually do dive it would be too difficult to read the watch...........or Rolex just doesn't want to.

IF ROLEX stick gaudy PCL on the new SS SUB (destroying what is meant to be a divers watch) then they might as well go all white face, or all pink face, or day glow orange face et cause it would not be a divers watch any longer anyway. What "divers" watch has glossy PCL, nice shark bait.

A Sub with a white face just isn't a Sub in my book.

I think you can make a white face sub and still have it be a divers watch. And yea it would be easier to read than all of those blue/yellow gold ect..

I think it would be cool to make a white dial sub with white ceramic bezel! the problem is that most everyone is stuck on tradition... Remember tradition the one that almost put Harley Davidson out of biz.. yes they finally built a metric bike or radiator bike VRod and guess what it sold like hell....

What got Harley into trouble was crappy manufacturing. Going back to their tradtional production values is what got them back on track. |
