New honey brown strap

I picked up a Ted Su honey brown horn back crocodile strap. Its a little more orangish than I expected and had a little of flaws (but we worked it out).

I have to say its a solid and high quality strap.

Enjoy the pictures.

Ocwatch, happy new year to you man.
The horn back is great but the color is as I mentioned a little more orange in tint that I would like. I played with the color, hue and saturation to capture its color best I could but unfortunately each and every one of our monitors is calibrated to brightness, contrast and color differently but it would not be a huge variation.
Also, I said above that there were a couple of mistakes that he made good on. Its thick, the oem is 1/3 the thickness of this strap , its almost like an Ammo style. Its also tapered from 24mm at the lugs to 22mm at the buckle but not quite 22mm. Its more like 24mm at the lugs, 22mm two thirds down and then 22.25mm at the tip. I had trouble getting it into the OEM buckle (I asked him not to include a buckle as I prefer to use OEM which I like the most). I had to kinda slide it in diagonally but there is still some scraping on the sides of the strap.

Lovely build quality though.

Thanks Paul & Heru & mancunia

If you like it is all that counts. I'll stick to my "ugly" ammos!

Wear it well.

As you say it's difficult to give accurate representations of colour due to difference in monitor colour temperature and it's always a bit of a risk with some colours as to what you'll receive. If you lived in a cloudy place like me then it would probably tone down

You must have quite a collection of straps now from all of the recent photos

Hope it grows on you. It certainly sounds quite a strap from your description.

Ron, thanks

Adrian, I guess this is more of an evening strap or a casual strap during the day. Hopefully with time it will tone down a little more.
Im enjoying the strap changing. Its nice to be able to match the situation or mood to the strap. I have one in black alcantara with some special stitching. Ill show it some time soon
