I'll post some pics later when I get time, but this band sure feels tinny and cheap! Is this normal with these? I'm almost afraid to wear it. Any help with you vintage guys...?

Gotta love these folded oyster bracelets as they were state of the art at the time. Can't wait to see the complete package. dP

yes the older bracelets are different, but they are comfortable to wear and are tougher than they look.

Thanks guys..This is a riveted expansion model,it does feel flimsy, but I haven't got a head on it either. I can't wait to marry it with the head.

Yes Bill, the same one.....It's being sent via USPS Registered Mail, so I'm sure it's secure, maybe actually too secure The band was bought quite a bit after the watch, but it was sent EMS, so I received it in about 4 days. Anyway, I can play with the band...I'll get some pics up tomorrow in some natural light. Just got home from work and have a splitting headache. The kids we ruthless tonight. Must be a full moon... |

I love & prefer those old school light weight rattly folded links oyster bracelets from the 70's, they make the watch feel weightless & comfy!
