It is still there, in fact that is where my 5513 Sub is right now. But my local Rolex AD told me that they do not offer service directly to the public. You have to go through an AD.

Is that Rolex USA's policy now? Going thru an AD?? When they had the RSC in Beverly Hills, you could take it there.

Bob, no, I did not mean to imply that it was Rolex USA's policy. As far as I know, it is only the policy of the RSC in Lititz.

My local Rolex AD used to send their watches to New York. They in turn sent them to Lititz PA. Now my AD sends them directly to Lititz.

Hope I did not mislead anyone, that was certainly not my intent.

Also, I am taking the word of my local AD that this is in fact true. I have not personally tried to contact the RSC in Lititz directly.

My TT DJ 16013 was serviced at the RSC in PA. In researching this RSC, I discovered it was formerly an authorized Rolex service center sometime back, but Rolex acquired it and it is now owned and operated by Rolex U.S.A. It operates as an overflow center to take the pressure off the other RSCs. Apparently, to keep close control over the flow of work, it accepts watches only from ADs that have been directed to send their watches there. At least from my experience, they do lovely work.

Yep, the address is:

Rolex U.S.A.
1 Wynfield Dr
Lititz, PA 17543-8000

I hear the watchmakers love it there in Lititz. When things get a little slow, they're able to supplement their income by making springs for another company in Lititz . . .

I live in Virginia and will soon have a Submariner that needs servicing. Do I still need to go through a dealer to get my watch serviced, I cant drive or mail it up there myself?

Finks(Dealer) uses the service center in Pennsylvania

Finks here in Va said I could send it to them myself, I was just making sure I could.

The watch value is approx. $10K, I guess I need to insure for such, with signature required.

Any suggestions USPS? Mail? FedEx?

Take it to your AD and they'll handle everything. Much simpler, easier, and covered door to door.

I live about 30 minutes from the lititz location and my local ad sends all of their watches there. The on site watchmaker my ad swears by them, said they do outstanding work. And yes I believe only ads can send watches there, it is not open to the "public".

Hope this helps

Thanks
Shane
