Breitling question.

How does the Breitling's second-hand move compared to the smoothness of Rolex's? Particularly those big bulky Breitlings. (like the ones that look like this one http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=5676 )

Can't help you. My Olympus has a small second hand in a subdial. It seems to be smooth.

I'm wearing mine today and the subdial second hand runs very smoothly, as does the chrono second hand.

I guess the Breitling movement would have the same hi-beat one as the Rolex, i.e. 28,800 A/Hr or 8 beats per second.

In which case, the smooth movement of the centre sweep would be the same.

Well most mechanical Breitlings today use a modified ETA 2892 or 2892-A2, Lemania 1873 or 1877, or the ETA Valjoux 7750 or 7758 all these models have a 28,800 BPH have a very smooth second hand motion.
