What do you think of this for my wife as a "starter" watch?
I need to buy a gift for my wife(valentines perhaps) and she really isn't into watches like I am but she is starting to get the fever since I am always looking at watches. Now keep in mind the most expensive watch she has ever had is a fossil and she is a pretty low maintenance lady but I would love to see her in a Rolex some day...she works hard and deserves whatever she wants(she just doesn't want one YET!).
Anyways, she looked at hundreds of watches online this weekend after yanking the laptop away from me finally and she locked up on this one....she won't admit she wants it but i know she likes it...she is just really tight with money(good thing she is married to me!!). This watch is only around $200 and is just really expensive in her opinion for a watch(you should have seen her face when i bought the LV). What do you all think,is it a good watch for the money? Im not real familiar with Bulova...in this category of watch is it a good brand? Also the real reason for this purchase is I won't feel bad about buying a black or orange monster if I buy her this!!!! |

I got my X a bulova a couple of years back....She's not into watches, hates how much I spend on them, but loved the diamond chip hour markers and a MOP dial, so poof, it's hers. Nice watch too.

She should like that. If she does, treat her to a new Rollie in a few years

I got my wife a Bulova as a "starter watch" back when we were dating. She wore it for over 8 years.

I love this expression.....starter watch.
Actually I bought a starter watch for my wife (as a birthday present and as a gift for my first son born in December) in December. I chose a Tag Heuer Aquaracer and she seems to be happy with it. Next time a Rolex or an Omega..... |
