I've written about this topic before but I am curious about what what these symbols mean

The "oT Swiss To" means that the indices are gold and the lume is Tritium.

If it said "-T Swiss T-", then they would be steel with Tritium lume..

Maybe the following...

The indication "T Swiss T" means that the watch is Swiss and contains a certain quantity of tritium that emits less than 227 MBq (7,5 mCi).

And the σ indicates white gold baton hour markers.

Sigma (upper case Σ, lower case σ, lower case in word-final position ς Greek Σιγμα) is the eighteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, and carries the /s/ sound. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 200. When used at the end of a word, and the word is not all upper case, the final form (ς) is used, e.g. Ὀδυσσεύς (Odysseus or Ulysses in Latin) - note the two sigmas in the center of the name, and the word-final sigma at the end. It is not to be confused with the cedilla ç.

Thank you Anastasios .. this lesson on how to spell the name of the king of Ithaque reminded me that we are NOT getting any younger ... it just carried me 30 years back ..

The crowns are threaded on the stem... Usually they have a bit of loctite on to hold them in place, but sometimes they just come unscrewed...
