Sellers in the Miami area
I am in Key Biscayne for the next few weeks and may be interested in buying a Rolex while I am here. Who are the TRF sellers local to me. I see some are in Florida, but Florida is a pretty big state and they could be hours away from me.
I have been diligently watching the FS section over that past few weeks and haven't seen anything I like. I think it may be time for me to contact the sellers directly to see if they can find me something. I am thinking about a Submariner in steel, with good lume. I want it as a watch to wear in the summer when we are boating and I need to see the time at night. Regards, Robert |

If you plan on going to an of the ADs in South Fl...they all offer no discount on the watches.
Perhaps some on here can direct you to a dealer in Miami who gives discounts...I don't know of any. |

I am trying to avoid the retail experience. Looking more for the one on one service from a TRF member where I have the time to ask the questions and do some research.

It does not hurt to visit a few local AD's there.
Feel the atmosphere, feel the friendliness and see if there are any high noses sales associates there. I'd visit some nice pawnshops and jeweleries shops too if time permits. It will be a good and exotic experience you will not soon forget! |

I know my man Oscar(bodybump) is no more than 30-45min away from Key Biscayne, and if you have anything in mind he can find it.

I am not really interested in visiting the ADs if there prices are not right. I would just be wasting their time. I was in my Local AD a few weeks ago with my wife when she was dropping off some jewelry to get repaired and had a chance to see a good selection. I actually didn't even have them take much out of the case as I didn't see anything I liked and fit my good lume criteria. Robert |

Whats up with the dials on a lot of the local watches. When I search near me on Ebay, a lot of the Miami area watches are mother of pearl and diamond, plus diamond bezels too. Is this bling thing something specific to this area? Just looking for a nice stainless Rolex with good lume, be it Submariner, Datejust or any other Rolex that has max lume. Robert |

Watch U want is very expensive. He changed the price on me. We agreed to a price and then said it was a misunderstanding when I got to his office 20 Minutes later. I ended closing the deal but would not buy from him again.

I have made a deal on a watch. Just have to wire the money in the morning. It was from a TRF seller, but he was on the West Coast. I guess that is what the USPS is for.
The local TRF sellers were quick to respond and BodyBump (Oscar) came through with a great deal just after I closed my deal with JustRolexes (Tony G.). I was tempted to get both, but I don't think my wife would have approved :) I got the ok from her on the first one, two would be pushing it. Thanks all for the help and suggestions. Robert |
