GMT ll
Just returned from my local AD & looked at the GMT11 for the first time with the ceramic bezel & a $7,000 retail tag. I must admit, it was a thing of beauty. Purchased a Date Just for the wife in December & a TOG for myself in January. I really can't justify dropping another 7 G's, although very tempting. I'll place this on my wish list for the next time my wife asks what to get me.

I bought mine for a thousand less than that. It pays to shop around.

Look in for sale section--there are some nice ones that are used that are complete with box and papers etc. priced well in 5k range. Check them out.

what is the best discount you got for a brand new one?
I was offered 15% in Dec., but I hope I can get one with 20%. Is it possible? |

The GMT II C is a beautiful watch, I saw a TT version at an AD this past weekend and it is a stunner.

When I visited the AD yesterday & tried on the GMTll, we didn't discuss pricing (retail was $7,000) because I wasn't ready to pull the trigger. The only time I haggle pricing is when I am ready to purchase. |

if you order from any out-of-state AD - you're saving 6-10% right there! getting 15% is easy, so just order it from another AD... then you got over 20%... |

20% off + no tax.
Pull the trigger now before the price increase, it is coming.
Just referred a TRF member to my local AD last week for bnib SS GMT2C, he got for 20% off + no tax - $5600 to be exact. PM me if you are interested. Quote:

No it wouldn't be out of the question. I would purchase from TRF as BNIB, but if I can get the same 20% from a local AD + no tax, it's really a no brainer.
