In January and February, I went to several including David Robinson(Altrincham), Watches of Switzerland (Manchester), Goldsmiths (Trafford Centre) and Goldsmiths(Bradford) and all have waiting lists for the SS Sub Date; up to 9 months they advised. Most had the LV though. SS Sub Date was/is £3820, LV was about £4k.

I went in to Berry's in York some months ago. Seemed a good set up with an excellent selection of watches to look at. They also offered 8% discount on a DSSD without me even trying.

My local AD in the North West has one in the window - PM me if interested and I will let you have the details. You might also want to contact Blowers in Hull they have a good selection of pre-owned and BNIB Subs (they are not an authorised dealer though) - there is also a branch of Berrys in Hull that retails Rolex.
Good luck with your search |

If you don't mind making the trip, I do some part time work at an AD in the Midlands, and might be able to sort out a deal for you. Drop me a PM if interested

Death of the Submariner.
Although the current Submariner Date and the accompanying LV are now discontinued and likely to become a little harder to find. (especially the LV once the world wakes up to the fact that a sports Rolex, only produced for 7 years in limited volume will only be available for a few more months) You should still be aiming for about 10% (minimum I reckon) discount for a UK AD supplied submariner and obviously more on the grey market.
Good luck with your search. Rolexroz |

Before you commit to buying new, have a look at Blowers of Hull. They are are "bricks and morter" Jewellers with an excellent website.
I have bought from them before and will buy from them again. Recommended. |

You will have to do a bit of searching as the SS Sub is in demand. I have a deposit on one with the watch sitting in the AD safe. Whilst I was disappointed to receive the call about a watch that I had reserved, it appeared that there were a number of hungry buyers circling around.
