Replacing the bezel of the 16610 to the LV bezel??!

Hi,

I have the submariner 16610 (V serial) and I was wondering if it is possible to replace the black bezel with the green bezel (LV model)??!

if so, what is the price of the green bezel and is it available??!

Thank you for the help.

I believe it is interchangeable. I've seen them go for anywhere between $100-$150.

Thanks for the reply. in fact, i searched a lot about it but couldn't find anything. I only found threads related to changing the LV bezel to the black one.

The watches are made, and the inserts are changed, identically...........

Yes, you could do it, but, IMO, it would look more like a fake LV.

Good luck finding a genuine green bezel. Putting a black bezel on the LV is 'acceptable' it just the putting the green on the your 16610 would look wrong...

Am I missing something? surely if the LV takes the sub bezel insert then the Sub will take the LV bezel insert? or am I just being thick?

The LV is just a normal 16610 Sub except for maxi dial and green bezel insert all parts are interchangeable. If you can get hold of a insert in the UK all aluminium inserts are around the £35-£40 mark.

The issue isn't weather it will fit. It may or may not. A 16610 with an LV bezel still, would not look like an LV. IMO, it would appear that the wearer were trying to make the watch something it's not.
