Sub LV availability and discount at Goldsmiths (UK)
Guys/Girls,
Does anyone know of a Goldsmiths in the South-East or Midlands that would discount a Sub LV? I have some vouchers to use and I've seen others on the board purchase the LV's at other ADs with a nice discount. I'm not sure what their policy is on discounting SS Rolex's - anyone got any recent experiences? |

Are they Tesco Clubcard vouchers mate?
If so..... you won't get ANY discount (on ANY watch) at ANY Goldsmiths. One of the terms & conditions of using them is that the item bought has to be paid for at full list price. (I know.... I've tried!!) & sorry but can't help you on the LV..... There WAS one in Leeds a few weeks ago (as well as a GMTIIc).... Could be worth a ring?? Best of luck.

Thanks Dan - yes I have some Clubcard vouchers saved that I'm going to put toward the total. Time to get on the blower and find one that's in stock!

I tried for discount on a LV at Goldsmiths in the East midlands last weekend. Best I could get from them was £3900 cash or full RRP if on the "Glad and sorry" at 0% over 36months.

Goldsmiths are very firm... they will happily discount 10-15% on any model with gold though..

Getting a discount on SS in London at least is incredibly difficult. Easy for Two Tone though.

Just to clarify guys...
If Sunny's using Tesco Clubcard vouchers, even in part-payment, he won't be offered any other incentive. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news & all that but I've bought several items this way (ie: 'part paying' in vouchers), & if you even use a tenner's worth it negates any other offer &/or discount. To be honest though the vouchers are kinda 'free' (you get points when shopping) so anything he gets off the watch is effectively a nett saving.
