Rolex Tudor Mini Sub, question
Hi
I am new to the forum and I would just like to say hello. I do have a question. I purchased my wife a Tudor Mini Sub, but not sure what I was buying, everything seems okay but the bezel does not turn. Were any of this model made with a fixed bezel or were they all rotating. Any info would be much appreciated Thanks Peter. |

Don't know much about the mini Tudor Subs but I would think the bezel set up would be the same as the full size. Make sure the crown is screwed down and rinse the watch in warm water and try turning the bezel. There's no spring so you should be able to move it both directions. Apply some soap if needed. Hold on tight cause it's gonna try to jump out of your hands. Good luck and keep us posted, mate. dP

My cousin has a Tudor Mini Sub.
Yes the bezel is supposed to turn uni-directionally, like the Rolex Submariner. |

Tudor mini sub
Hi Dan
thanks for your reply, I have tried what you suggested, but I was a bit nervous about doing it as you cannot be to certain about second hand watches. I could not get the bezel turning but I will try again. The watch was a impulse buy at a Watch and Clock Fair, my knowledge of Rolex watches is very limited, even though I do have a Datejust of my own. I have not taken the back off, as I do not have a Rolex back remover. I do know the dealer and have dealt with him before, so if it is a fake I should get my money back. I know I should have done all the usal checks but everything seems right. I think it is dirt that is holding the bezel I will get a freind to take the back off and confirm. It is apparently rare to fake a tudor. Thanks for your reply Peter. |
