Rolex Humor
I gave my wife a new ladies yellow gold Datejust with a President bracelet to commemorate her recent naturalization as a U. S. citizen (she's from the Philippines). She's a nurse, and works with a lot of foreign-born nurses and doctors.
Lately she's had some fun with her co-workers. She has taken to showing off her Rolex and when they ask where she got it, she tells them she got it from the U. S. Government as part of the Stimulus package! She goes on to say that it's part of the the administration's efforts to encourage people to become U. S. citizens, and they're giving everyone a Rolex at the naturalization ceremony! So far, everyone's bought it, until she cracks up and starts laughing! I thought TRF would get a kick out of that. I know I did! |

Cute story! Congrats to her on becoming a citizen! I went through the process quite a few years ago and it's a great feeling!

Good story.. keeping a straight face could be a challange.
Would've been awesome, if that was a gift from the Federales ...(on either side of the boarder...).. LOL.....

A girl was visiting her blonde friend, who had acquired two new dogs, and
asked her what their names were. The blonde responded by saying that one was named Rolex and one was named Timex. Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?" "Helllooo," answered the blonde. "They're watch dogs!" This may be a repost. Sorry if it is. |

I live in the UK and would happily buy several Rolex's for anyone wishing to grant me legal residency in the US.
Good story!!
