Accuracy report on new LV and Cartier,
a sec or less fast per day. One of the things I look forward to when getting a new watch is checking the accuracy. Needless to say I am very happy with that.
The Cartier that I bought for my wife is running about +10 secs per day. I will see how it goes over the next few months. I probably would not have it opened and adjusted for that but wish it ran just a little better. If you have never checked out Cartier before you may want to give them a look. Very nice packaging, very high quality, very crisp looking dial with romans. Spuds, I've been promising you pics, I will get some up soon. |

Sounds like the LV is pretty much spot on Art, you must be delighted As for Cartier, I admire their designs, but dealing with their head office is horrendous. Very pompous, and a world apart from the courteous treatment Rolex always gives

I don't know as I've never dealt with Cartier. I have hear from others that they have the best service and bend over backwards if a problem arises. I'm sorry to hear you have had problems with them, hope I have better luck.

Hey Art. Might be a good idea to send the LV to me so we can be sure it's that accurate on another wrist.

They may look after people better in the USA (I'd certainly hope so anyway!), but I've always found them very frustrating to deal with in my line of work. I think a lot of it stemmed from a management change over here, but I guess that's just one of those things

Thats great accuracy on the Sub My new Sub is about -3 but I have only had it for 3 days so time will tell... I am very happy even if it stays like this

Agree that cartier have a very good service. Though I have never bought a watch from Cartier. Bought some jewelry from them a couple of yrs ago and they did give me a call after a month or 2 due to price adjustment and gave me some refund.
