winding crown

please be gentle first post, just bought a new sub date 2 weeks ago love this forum,silly question when i tighten the winding crow the rolex logo does not sit up right should it or am i being picky hope this makes sense

Welcome, The crown on the winding stem isn't meant to line up. My gmt2c is at 10 o'clock. Some people get lucky and have an aligned crown; others don't get so lucky. There are quite a few threads on this subject if you search the forum a bit. Enjoy your watch.

Same with my 16610...my crown is sideways.

Guess it is upright when i am walking...

thanks for the info just love the watch best rolex there is,when i bought it some shops were quoteing 10 months waiting list others had a couple in stock all within 30 miles of each other

don't be fooled by magazine pics with the crown upright. More than likely, the photographer just loosened the crown to align upright.

my photo was done this way.
my SD was lucky, standing the right side up
