Sarcar 1960's - I think

Hello all, new here

I inherited a Sarcar that was my fathers, he bought this many moons ago while overseas during the Korean War (I believe he was in Europe at the time of purchase).... I inherited it about 6 years ago and decided to try to get some info on it and maybe a fair value so that I can insure it... The original leather band is/was long gone and a yellow gold bracelet (band) replaced it, I was told that the band is 22ct gold, I seriously doubt it because jewelers just do not make chains or bracelets out of 22ct, so I believe that it may be 18ct...

The only thing on the back of the watch is the serial number nothing else, I did not even see an engravers or manufactures logo (mark)... I have included a picture of said watch... Thank you very much for any info... Steve
