I removed the 6 o clock side of my gmt bracelet and cant ge it back on and I already see a few micro scratches on the underside of the case. Anyone know what the best approach to getting this thing back on? I have a gtmiic with the springbar.

You need to tape the watch head so that will not happen, the lugs are the most important.

Yup, tape it! Use masking or electrical tape.

thanks just got it back on. I used 2 paper clips and compressed both sides of the springbar in and the bracelet popped right back into place.

My question was more directed to which route I should use to place the bracelet back in. I don't have one of those fancy tools and the first couple times I tried to do it, I tried compressing one side, sliding it in and then compressing the other side but that obviously failed.

Wasn't that bad anyway. You can barely noticed it on the underside and is something a quick polish should take out with ease.

Go buy the tool so this will not happen again.
