Breitling Blacksteel + $5000 = M SS Daytona

Hi, I'm about to trade my M serial SS Daytona for a Breitling skyland avenger blacksteel + $5000 (cash) from the other person. Do you guys think I should go for it. I've wanted this breitling for a long time so now here's my chance to own the watch. So the other person is like buying my daytona for $8500. Should I pull the trigger? Let me know please.

I really don't think this is worth it. The resale value on Breitlings isn't that great, and if you really wanted the blacksteel you could just sell the Daytona for perhaps a bit more then buy it. Rolex is one of the only brands that doesn't depreciate that badly, so I feel this isn't a good trade.

The avenger skyland is a limited edition. Do you think it will lose its value somemore. It use to sell for $5000 + when it first came out.....now I'm buying it for 3500 and it is completely sold out.

Have to agree with Charlie. The Daytona will ALWAYS hold its worth and value!!

Breitlings, Omegas, TAGs maybe good watches, but their resale sucks big time.

I wouldn't get rid of a Daytona to buy a Breitling. But that's me. Maybe if you were upgrading to Patek or AP.
