So let me get this straight

It's extremely fragile, even more so than the previous models.

If you break it, it's $200 to fix, and you have to take it to the mall.

It doesn't work if you hold it the way they show you to hold it in the commercials/ads/literature.

If you hold it the way they show you in the commercials/ads/literature, they will inform you that you are holding it wrong.

It's only available on a completely saturated network that wasn't very good in the first place.

Every year you will camp out in a line for the privilege of getting on a list to pay $299 to "upgrade" (I use that term loosely) it.

I'm sorry, I guess I don't "get it".

I guess it's pretty clear what "It" is.

Microsoft doesn't make Droids or Blackberries. They don't even make computers. They are very different companies, and I wouldn't even really consider them competitors. You're mistaken if you think that I'm a Microsoft fanboi. At my level, I don't hold any allegiance to any particular tech company.

I just see Apple for what it is. My opinions of Apple are gaining traction in the public. This is the first chink in their armor. Apple has hubris to spare.

Not nearly the first, but certainly one that affects more than the folks willing to ignore ignore the "chinks".

Good points all. Zealous allegiances to corporations crack me up; be it Apple, MS, Rolex, etc...

Totally agree with Cecilia.

I buy products with no allegiance implied to who manufactured them.

Except with my watches.
