Rolex Alarm!!!

I have always thought that besides telling time, a logical and useful function for a watch is an alarm. I know there are digital alarms out there and several are really cumbersome to set like Seiko. I had a nice easy to set St. Moritz (now Momentum) but found the alarm too quiet. I also have a Timex I occasional use that has an audible alarm and is really easy to set.

I know it’s possible to make mechanical alarms (used to have an 1870s pocket watch). And I believe Rolex only alarm was the Tudor Advisor 7926 in 1965.

I presume that some marketing genius has decided that there is no market for a Rolex alarm. Am I nuts, or is there anyone else out there that thinks a Rolex alarm would be a good thing?

Didn't Panerai make an alarm watch, or was that just a movie??

There isn't a watch alarm that I'm aware of that I can hear unless I hold it to my ear.

If that watch was vibrating, I might feel it.

As far as I'm concerned, watches don't need alarms, even though I have a bunch that do.
