Is this insert Genuine or aftermarket?
Can anyone tell if this insert is Genuine or aftermarket? And should I sell it on ebay if i have no use for it?

It looks pretty good to me, so I'll say it's genuine...

Is that off of a submariner or straight from a Rolex AD?

U must have bought it used? I am looking for a brand new bezel insert which is why I'm asking.

Well, it's highly unlikely it was the original bezel insert - given the whiteness of the pearl.

Judging from the pictures and the way the pearl looks, the insert seems genuine. It definitely looks newer than the matte dial since it already has a patina going whereas the pearl still has its whiteness. My Sub 16610 has it the other way around, the pearl has the patina while the dial markers are still white.

IMHO the insert looks real, but definitely not original to the watch. Shouldn't 1680s have flat fours?
If you have no use for it and it's not original to the watch, I don't see why you should keep it. Good luck flipping.
