Do you think its worth the price? in yho
Hey folks it has certainly been a long time since last being on trf last. good to see you all
My question to you all at this time friends is, my Wife's Sister has a potential deal in the process with a friend of my cousin for an all steel Cartier ballon bleu mens large size/w date. Looks to be in quite good condition as he doesn't wear it often. Sorry I got no pic of it but its solid. He is asking firmly $5,300cdn for it and she wants to know if that is a good deal or if she should pass it by??? Any Thoughts would be appreciated Thanks Dan |

Dan, $5,300 CDN is a lot of money to spend on any watch! I think of the number or pre-owned Rolex watches or multiple pre-owned Omegas I could get for that money. Frankly, I would not do it, but that is just me. Plus, I am not especially a Cartier fan. Cheers, Bill P.

That's a poor deal. A brand new Ballon Bleu watch (42mm) is sold through Cartier boutiques for approximately US$5,800. The watch is beautiful and has to be seen in real life to appreciate its unique aesthetic. I believe the movement is outsourced, however.
