That would really depend on the dial you choose, Chad.
The Romans have little or no illumination. The new stick markers are nice and broad as are the hands and heavily coated with Luminova. So if it's illumination you want, make sure you choose the right dial first!!

On the hour and minute hand with the little strips of luminova, how do they shine?
Anyone have a Lume photo? Mike? |

But I do know that the DJ dial with the stick markers have nice broad ridges in between and those are filled with Luminova. Not a lume picture, but the hands and markers should give you a fair idea. The Roman dial ones are gorgeous, but useless as far as illumination is concerned.

Agreed, Jeff. Both my ADs have one each - one of them has it on the new Oyster (as pictured above) and the other on the new Jubilee.....absolute crackers both of them!! (we seriously need a "Drooling" emoticon!)

Nah. Now that bezel on the all white would look good, but the bullseye doesn't do it for me.

Agreed!! The DJ should be considered more of a DRESS watch rather than a sports one. The Romans look real cool on that baby....why worry about lume?

I have a SS DJ with romans. I have been eyeing the new black dials just because I would like to know what time it is after dark.
I do love the romans though... |
