Do you think the hour hand is slightly off centred
What do you think?

It has driven me nuts as I look for precision in a time piece amd that includes hands pointing precisely where it should.
I have sent in back to RSC London and they said it is not off centred. I am waiting for the General Manager to call me tomorrow.

You dont have much luck do you mate. It looks a little off to me. As does the date.
My sub isnt 100% perfect when sitting in the same position as yours but its close enough and im not getting involved in sending my watch to Bexley again!! Keep us posted! And, does anyone else have pics of their GMTs sitting at six so we can compare?? |

Set the 4th hand to 6 o'clock to see if that one line up perfect, then you will see if the hour hand is spot on.

For sure, but it's an easy fix.
One of the things I check out with my 10x loupe when buying a new watch. Must try these FOUR positions..... 6 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock to check for perfect alignment. JJ

Ummmmmmm..........seriously that looks fine to me.......nothings perfect. Would not bother me one bit....can you still tell the time? Does the watch tick? Does the lume work? Does the date change? Seriously if you answered yes to all the above questions then your watch is fine IMO. Some people may have higher standards than me though lol.

To be honest I would not have my watch opened up for that, it's barely noticeable and at service time they will take the hands off anyway and reset them.

It's a little off, but I wouldn't worry about it!
Okay, I would worry about it, but I wouldn't obsess over it. Actually, it might bother me a little. As a matter of fact, send it off ASAP. |

Judging by the picture it does look a bit off, however a slight play in the angle of your camera may cause tricks to the picture..
But having said that, I personally wouldnt be bothered too much anyway, since the time never stops so I will never notice it.. But thats just me! |

Here you go, maybe it's easier to judge it now.
I tried to clean it up a bit but the picture wasn't that good from the beginning. |

I thought I had OCD, WoW! Have a beer, enjoy your watch, and if date doesn't change at midnight spot on, they are screwing with you. Maybe its the dial.

Sorry, yes, it looks off. I'd expect a perfect dial and centred hands, no less than that.

Looks off to me as well, but I have experience with an Omega SMP that had an issue like that and for awhile it drove me NUTS. Then when I had it serviced for another issue they fixed it, so I would agree with those above that say wait until a service cycle and then it will be fixed.
After all, something much worse could be wrong with it.. |

Yep, and that would bother me too. I've had the same thing fixed on two watches (a Bell & Ross and a Panerai), although in both cases the problem was quite a bit worse than yours.

Yes, it's off in the pic.
It's 7 seconds past 6 and yet the hour hand looks like it's on the "before 6" side of the mark. Greg |

Off Centered GMT IIC
How come RSC London says it's not off centered ? It's very obvious that the hour hand isn't centered ! .. This drives me nut too for such a watch.. Please let us know about the GM decision.
