Icon10 (Almost) one week report.....

Well friends, last week I got a beautiful surprise from my AD (link http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=135461), and 6 days after....

1.- I am STILL finding stickers in the clasp and case , I even had a couple of 'inspection evenings' where I pulled the easylink/easyglide or whatever they call it out and found those clear plastic protectors in places I NEVER thought of!

2.- The weight of the watch and bracelet is amazing, VERY comfortable on the wrist.

3.- I still think that the black ceramic bezel shines too much in some light conditions and even looks gray-ish; but the feel of the whole assembly is unique; big kuddos to Rolex.

4.- Lume is great, you can see the blue 'light' even during daylight as you walk into a room.

and the best part to me: 5.- The clasp. It is, with no doubt, the biggest improvement compared to previous oyster and oysterlock bracelets. It is sturdy, strong, closes with a tight 'snap' and the micro adjustment system....SUPERB. SO easy to adjust. Also, the whole composition of the clasp is massive, thickness close to the watch case, just beautiful.

I was very impressed with the clasp on my SS Daytona (always have loved the clasps on DD and gold daytonas) and saw it as a nice upgrade from the previous clasps; but then I tried this one.....WOOF.

Well, got to go....I just saw more plastic stickers on the clasp!

Let me tell you, if the SS Suc-c comes with this clasp; it justifies the new price tag

I understand! It is amazing how they put stickers on the tiny parts of the clasp mechanism

Congrats!
Now that is a sweet watch! I am tempted because I always thought of getting a TT Sub Date. But that Black dial Ceramic is gorgeous. One day I'll pull the trigger.
