Bracelet balance (DSSD)… how many links should be on either side of clasp?

It's not about balance........ it's about how it fits your wrist..

Most need to have as few links on the 6 o'clock side as possible (usually 5, but the new bracelets can go down to 4) and all the removeable links needed put on the 12 o'clock side..

This is because the wrist is not symmetrical and the wrist bones pronate (criss-cross) when looking at the time........
