So today my colleague Yasu-san comes over and says Sam "take a look at this" he puts his Vacheron in my hand and all I can think about is very nice. The only piece I own on an Crocodile Strap is my Jour et Nuit which was gifted to me by my wife when we got married in 2005. All of a sudden I am starting to fancy watches without metal bracelets... My first love for watches will always be Rolex, however, I am interested in hearing your thoughts/stories on non-Rolex brands withough metal bracelets...

I love my Rolex as an everyday knock around piece, but I think a time piece on a leather strap always feels nice, something about being understated at a fine function is what i like.

Thanks Pix for your response. I agree there is something about a nice dressy watch for those special occasions. I thought there were more non-rolex WIS's here?
