A big forum

But how comes that most polls do not get more votes ?

I am really interested in the result of this poll

but somehow only 82 people have voted. With more than 40.000 members this is a bit dissapointing.
I know not everybody can read every thread but only 82 ?

Have you noticed the forum's name ? That should give you some indication as to why

Go to the "Community" drop-down at the top of the page and choose "Members List". Click the word "Posts" at the top of the "Posts" column, then click the little down arrow next to the word "Posts". The list will default to the users with the lowest posts at the top. Go through the pages. THAT is why you don't see many people posting and answering polls.

Look at close to the top of the page in blue. You'll see things like "UserCP", "FAQ" and "Community". Click on community and hold the mouse and it will drop down, allowing you to choose "Members List". Follow the rest of the directions, and you'll see what I'm talking about, you old coot!!!

Allan has a great point...that link will show, literally, 100's and 100's of pages with people having zero posts. I can understand lurking but that's alot of accounts.

We have had alot of "visitors" here lately...almost 4 to 1 at some points.

That's pretty common for forums. I belong to one local forum where I'm usually the only registered user online, and 15 or 20 "guests" are logged in.
