Sub LV vs Sub ND facts

Well, just got my Sub LV. Got to tinkering and said what the heck, so popped off the bezel on the Sub LV and the Sub ND. Figured I would swap bezel inserts. Found out the Bezel insert and inner bezel on the Sub ND is smaller in diameter than that of the Sub LV! Also by comparing the two bezels, the SUb LV has a thicker bezel, more like the SeaDweller.

BTW, the bezels were very easy to take off. Hard part was putting the bezel insert back in to make sure the Triangle lined up correctly. Also, if you do, watch out that you do not loose the small Bezel spring! Mine came out and took me a while to find it!

I think you would have a real hard time knocking the bezel off. Had to pry it open with a screwdriver (used masking tape on watch and srewdriver to protect from scratches, worked real good!). I know of many that I have served with who have had Subs or GMTs and put them through extremes and no problems.

Actually thought the Watches looked pretty good with out the Bezels! Kind of like a 40mm DJ or Exp 1 !!

I've found that aligning the insert can be facilitated by popping the spacer, spring and bezel on first, then installing the insert afterwards.

This is interesting, I would have sworn that the non-date was the dimensional equivalent of the 16610...good one to keep in mind...
