Need help finding my 6538 Submariner

RFMoeller or an associate is trying to sell my Submariner 6538, 307XXX, and I need info:
re: selling price, present location of watch, and seller's description of watch.
Any info would be greatly appreciated; reward for finding watch. Watch is not being offered through public channels.

Need info

I have knowledge that buyer of my watch still has it in his possession and
he has turned down at least $40K for a heirloom I want back.
What I am hoping for is a photo and/or description of how the watch is being marketed. This information would only be available to another collector or
dealer of vintage Rolex; seller is RFMoeller Jewelers, Mpls./St.Paul,MN

Now I understand your interest in mine.....That stinks that you sold it to a buyer who paid too little for it. Mine has a refinished face :( so It's not in the same category .....Good luck ...... I'll keep my eyes open.....................

I have mixed feelings about this, while I think you didn't get what the watch was worth, you did sell it. 1, if it was your fathers why not keep it as a momento. 2, if you saw what 5512's and 5513's were going for why didin't you do some more research on the model you had. 3, why didnt you go to another jeweler to get a second opinion knowing it was a vintage watch. I recieved a 1655 in a similar circumstance and being a newbie to watches at the time I did the above and found out what I had and still have it. I'm sorry but the term buyer beware goes both ways and seller beware is the other part of it. I think you made a mistake in a rush to sell it and now feel you want more. just my opinion

How can you offer a reward for a watch that is not yours? If you sold it then it's sold. Sorry, but you should have done research as stated above before selling it. The only thing I can suggest is go back to the person who bought your watch and get it back. This is very strange, I feel for you but not too much you can do.
