If model and serial correct 1947 6551
I know sure looks like the dial has been refurbished but, I'd like to think is was awhile back and was a decent job even if part of the swiss is missing! This is a mid-size or youth, small build male, larger build female.

If you are thinking about getting it Earl, I would realy ask the seller for some more pics!
If it is an original you should enter the price of a new dial and hands into the equasion. Just my opinion |

Alex I already own this watch! But, I am thinking of putting it up for sale as it was bought with a grandson in mind. Now I'm thinking I really should find something a bit larger DJ being the smallest and a vintage sub the largest as a graduation present (he's now 10) in year 2013...

The model 6551 is from around 1955,and should be running the Cal 1130.If your
watch is from 1947 it would have a cal 730 or 740 but IMO it is from the 50s |
