When i was there in april/may they had a long waiting list for the GMT IIc i would have bought it then and there if they had it in stock. Our dollar was pretty strong and it came up to less than 6k.

To be honest, its a pot luck finding popular sports models at any of the London airports.
I have never seen anything "worthwhile" at any of the Heathrow ADs until today. |

All watches in duty free are VAT free. If you are travelling outside the EU when you return you are suppose to declare any purchase. Whereas if you are to take a short hop to France you are not required to declare. So my next purchase I will arrange the watch at duty free anf take a short flight to any EU country.
