How do I open the case back of a Montblanc

Does anyone know how to open the case back of a Montblanc Meisterstuck watch?

Depends on the model. The classic is press fit. You can either use a caseback knife or get a new razor blade and work it around the outside edge... carefully.

Watchmakers love guys like you. Why do you want to open it? This can be like the dog chasing the truck down the street-what are you going to do when you catch it?

If you want to admire the inside of the watch-how do you plan to close it? Is the watch a water resistant model? How are you going to check the water resistance after you close it (if you can)? A razor blade isn't a good idea, you'll run a very good chance of damaging a caseback gasket.

watchteacher has a very good point.

I don't understand why anyone would want to open a case back for no good reason - even if you do, I would suggest to take to a certified watch maker.
