Tudor question....

What's the story with the "Roulette" date wheel???
What models had them????

You know, some modern Datejusts have them too! I think they're cool.

Certain '50s models such as the Datejust, Oysterdate, early GMT (6542), and Thunderbird TOG (6609) had them in the mid-50s. It was part of the '50s styling (along with those dauphin hands and dagger markers: the Rolex equivalent of tail fins)...

But why is this a Tudor question?

The only time I had ever seen a Roulette date wheel was on a Tudor???

Some Tudor Snowflakes 7021/0 has the black-red roulette date wheel too.



Even on early Monte Carlos 7031 or 7032? (?? perhaps ??)
