GMT II help please
What position of the crown sets the gmt hand? I know position one is to wind, position 2 jumps the hour and position 3 set the time. I think the GMT II is able to set the gmt hand independant of setting the regular time.

Hi,
On the GMTII you have to set the 4th hand at position 3. I usually therefore set the 4th hand first at the desired time, then adjust the hour hand at position 2 for my local time. Hope it helped ;)

If I understand correctly the red(green?) 24 hour hand is moved in position three. The 12 hour hand can reflect the local timezone you are in via the jump-hour feature while the 24 hr. hand reflects "home time".

If you mean the red (green on GMT IIc) GMT/24h hand can be set independantly from all other hands then the answer is no, it can't. You move the GMT/24h hand at position three together with the minute and (I think) hour hand. It is the hour hand that can be set independently at position two, with the rest of the hands moving as usual.

Thanks guys. I was expecting a forth position to set the red hand , but now i understand how to do it. Its set in the 3rd position with the min, then you go back to 2nd position and jump the hour to local time. Got it...thanks fellas.
