Sub 14060,14060M,16610, center clasp

Center fit clasp's problem again, any owners of Sub 14060, 14060M or 16610 ever took out the folding extension link and let the 12 o'clock side's bracelet end connect to the clasp directly? Thanks for your sharing!

I don't see how it would make any difference as the extension folds up in the clasp. If it were removed, the end link of the bracelet would still be engaged in the same place within the clasp. Unless I'm missing something.

You really don't say what your "problem" is......

In any event, you cannot connect the bracelet end directly into the clasp unless you add an extra link on the end and make some bushings to hold a spring-bar in the old screw holes......

Just want to remove it, coz the diver's link is useless for me.

I haven't a chance to put it on, all ADs are out of stock, so I still know nothing about this watch.

The divers extension does not alter the wear of the watch at all when not opened. I don't think that removing it will do anything for you. If you look at the pic you posted and think the link looks like that all the time, you are incorrect. The diving link folds into the clasp. It wears like a regular watch unless you unfold the clasp and use the extension

Take a link from the 6:00 side and move it to the 12:00 side.

I might add it is easier putting it on without the extension as well.

It's really quite easy to bolt on a clasp from the ExpII or GMT if you don't like the diver extension........

Of course not, I knew the extension link folds into the clasp when wearing, just want to remove all the unnecessaries (at least for me) in order to get the most fitness.
