A Very Close Encounter with a Beautiful Paul Newman

My dear forum friends, I was traveling this weekend for my wife's birthday and we decided to go visit one of our closest friends that also happens to be our one and only trusted watchmaker.

My friend who recently underwent an open heart surgery is the proud owner of a beautiful and all original 6241 that he wears as his every day watch.

While visiting him, he let me take some close up pictures of his watch. Unfortunately I couldn't take a wrist shot on my wrist as the watch wouldn't even go past my knuckles. His watch is fitted with the original riveted stretch bracelet with a very unique clasp engraving you will appreciate in the pics.

You will also see some pics of his beauty next to my grail. To amazing chronos next to each other.

Enjoy!!!!Name: IMG_2137 copy.JPG

I was dying to try it on but my friend's wrist is so small. It's definitely an amazing watch. Something very interesting is how light the watch feels compared to other Rolex models.
